vin/weight plate

Postby bj928 » Wed Dec 12, 2007 6:59 pm

anyone got a blank axle weight plate for a mk1 transit, the german fire engine is proving a problem to get MOT'd, vosa won't MOT as a truck because they got no type approval data for a mk1 transit over 3500kg GVW, and because its got 3600kg GVW on the plate they won't MOT as a class 7, if i can get a new plate with 3500kg vosa will take that as the GVW and let it go as a class 7 for MOT,

or has anyone an idea as to how to get the thing offically down plated from 3600kg to 3500kg GVW
