I can only advise on a dashcam, but I'd recommend NOT getting a Nextbase 522GW.
I had an older Nextbase previously that just sat in the windscreen for about 6 years and worked without fault. I'd wired it in to a switched live so it'd start recording as soon as the engine started. The windscreen mount eventually gave up and it fell out of the windscreen and bouncing off the dash into bits.
Replaced it with the 522, set up in exactly the same way. Sometimes it'll work, but more often than not it'll power on but not start recording, meaning I need to manually press record. Other times it'll just not even power on. There is power going to it, the charging indicator will light up, it just needs manually turning on at which point it'll start recording. Only realised it wasn't working as it should when I witnessed a pretty nasty accident ahead where dashcam footage would have really helped, of course it wasn't recording!
Nextbase said it was the memory card at fault, even though it was perfectly fine in the old camera. Bought one that Nextbase recommended, same issues. They said it must be faulty. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and bought another. Same issues. Think it's just the camera that's sh*t.
