Hi guys,
I've just bought a right hand drive 1986 mk 3 transit in Malta and looking to drive it back to the UK. The van originally came from the UK as it was part of the Telecom fleet. When in Malta the Pinto engine was removed and the 2.5 Diesel fitted. I am planning on re registering the van back in the UK whe I get it home. Anyone be able to point me in the right direction for finding out the original registration?

G Man, where can I check the VIN to find the original UK Reg?

Unless you have original docs you are highly unlikely to find the original reg.
You are likely to get the original reg back if imported correctly (NOVA decleration etc etc)
