Transit 160 2.5di camper ..g reg...whats it worth please ?

I have been offered a Transit 160.
registered as a 2ltr petrol but been converted to
2.5Di,G reg,twin axle camper.
like a bread van sort of style.
says ambulance on v5.
Its far from immaculate,has a home done conversion inc woodburner ect
it runs well and is mot'd til sept.
don't know about milage .

Any idea what its worth ?
And would this type be a good one for me n my festivals/road trips ect.

with out seeing it its hard to say what it is worth you could do some searches on the net to find out..
as for festivals and trips and shows maybe.. if you think it has all you need then yes, but there is allways somthing you leave behind
as for the wood burner.. i would say it is a good idear for this as it is a cheap way to keep warm. just make sure you do have a little air flow going as you dont want to get smoked out.. i have a woodburner in me shed i made from a gas bottle and if there is no breeze out side then i tend to get a little smoke in the shed..but it has it uses the woodburner that is not the smoke
i was thinking of making another and fitting it in me trailer... but me shed some times smells of smoke and i dont want this in me trailer so im fitting a gas fire in there now.

If you're going to put a gas fire in your van do make sure you have sufficient ventilation. Don't want you meeting your maker sooner than planned. Sounds like your wood burner could do with a bit of ventilation as well.

woodburner has a chimney so it should of been ok but i need to put some more metal in the lid, and make the chimney longer i think... the gas thing in the van will be ok there will be vents fitted and a roof vent too..

If the vents are for a gas heater, then keep in mind that if you get a leak the gas will sink, so make sure you have a vent at the bottom of your gas bottle cupboard.

yes i know about this but thanks. i have sorted the woodburner out now today and there is no smoke. im happy now it was the top that needed sorting. so i done some more welding to it and opened the front up more and presto.. all sorted.

Her days arnt over by far,but they are for me i think,sadly.
But i do need somthing bigger,high top with burner for rd trips with the baby now aswell as me n dogs n parrot

Budget ummm yes i have one but it could be stretched if it means the Tessie can get mended.
We are near Bristol .
i am looking to buy this other tranny for immeadiate use as i'm litterally climbing the walls n need to be on the road,so yes Tessie could be parked up n worked on..
Well Tessie IS parked up and its making me so sad
