5 tonner??

I was talking to a customer the other day who reckons my truck is a 5 tonner

He says i have an extra leaf in the rear springs + tacho and my vin says ::::




I told him that i think the tacho is for when i am towing but i am sooo not sure now as its the first time i have looked at the vin plate

The way i see it then, is... if it's just my truck its 3500kg gross and if i am towing it's 5000kg gross ( hence the tacho )

The tacho is so you can tow a braked trailer for reward, technically most of us who tow for work should have one.

5000 is the max combined weight of vehicle and trailer alowed.
