in Macclesfield today i saw a really clean mk5 smiley, looked like brand new....... on a 52 plate!!!!! and yes, i did look twice to check

didnt get a chance, he was coming out of a side street as i passed, deffo a 52 plate though, something like MO52, so it was a 52, some property maintenence company, i'll keep my eye out for it when i'm next up there

ha cool !!!!!!! just checked up Bessie Browns reg using the dvla as the log book is somewhere in the cold office and it was her 30th birthday yesterday !!!! not old enough for a mk2 pre-facelift to be of any significance though!

ive just found this post ...mine is a mk5 ..build date 10/07/2000 & first registered 23/08/2000 so does that put me in front?
