I dont know if this counts but I have the oldest 430 Jumbo.

I ordered it September 01 and it arrived September 02, the dealer told me it was the first to be registerd in the UK as DVLA would not accept it was an HGV. When it went for its first MOT to get its HGV plate it had be logged onto the computer as according to DVLA there was no such thing as a HGV MK6.

If it was its original plate (or we had the chassis no.) we could look up the spec of the van including the build date (not registration date)

Yes that was the original number plate, I kept them under the seat and have just screwed them back on.

You system must be better than Fords as everytime I have tried that Ford say that number does not exist.

Let me know if you need the chassis number.

The chassis number for this 430 is WF0LXXGBFL2T68094 registered 06/09/02

My new 350 200ps has turned up at the dealer today, going to pop in before Friday to have a look.

Let me know what you can find out please.

Now you can see why I had problem when it was new. DVLA told me it was a 350 but it is plated to 4.3 tonnes. The registration certificate even sais its a 350 but has HGV in taxation class
.
There was even a threat at one time of putting it on a Q plate, Ford and DVLA eventually got them selves sorted out.

It quite handy though it not having a speed restrictor and I often find myslef it the outside lane of the motorway, OOPS officer I did not realise. :D

There is an Asquith I have seen in Portsmouth a few times, I think its on a 54 plate. Its obviously based on a 6 stud mk5 8)
