I think I like the look of the long lance type washy thing....

I use an adjustable wash brush for doing high up and the wheels on my van, still need a ladder to do the actual roof though. The brush cost about £5-£10

though you can get longer ones if needed

Oh and don't bother with the hose atatchment just dunk it in a bucket

With my old medium roof I uesd to stick up a ladder then a scafold board across the roof rack. My new low roof I can do from a step ladder.

I live in a flat..Got communal stairways and the window at the bottom is just the right height for me to reach out with a soapy broom.. Get the missus to move the van forward when i need to reach the other half of the roof...Does that make sense?
