Hallmark Transits

Postby transit jono » Mon Dec 19, 2005 3:17 pm

Hallmark Transits built in 1995 to celerbrate 30 years of the beloved Transit.
My question to you Transit nuts is what is standard spec for one of these?? and does anyone have a Ford Brochure for this special addition that i could buy or copy?
My Hallmark was bought to break but found to be just savable.
Spec.Dark blue,sld,opening back doors.
alloy five spoke type tourneo wheels, rev. counter,76ps di,power steering, power mirrors and windows, air con, heated screen and central locking.
It's plastic lined in the back with minibus type plastic fittings around the rear lights and side step.In place of the standard front interior light is a consel with map reading lights.
How many where made?I've only seen this one.

Hey jono.

600 of them were made, so definately worth saving, very rare! only seen one myself in this area, and that was at the Autojumble in Newark.

Take a look at this page for some pics.. http://www.transitvanclub.co.uk/markfive.htm

Thanks-bloody hell, didn't think they where that rare.Wish mine had been looked after better and not used by a builder who couldn't drive a van.
I'm going to do it up and use it for work,it will have alot easier time from now on.
Going to fit a new battery, fan belt and alternator tomorrow. The side door is jammed so will sort that.I'll take some pictures and try to post them, you won't believe how it's been treated!
Can anyone help me out with a Ford Brochure?

I broke one of them up last year..the shell went to the crusher...i kept the leccy windows /central lock and the wheels and a few other bits to put in a van I had at the time. if i had known they were rare I may have not broken it...it only had a bit of rust in the chassis but nothing severe.
