helpppp ... kind of urgent ... full size van cover req'd

Postby Gunslinger » Sat Dec 24, 2005 3:17 pm

guys, i'm am hoping one of you will know where i can get a full size waterproof cover from, preferably the shaped type rather than just a tarpaulin sheet.

it needs to fit completely over a mk2 lwb semi high top van, and cover all the way down to the bottom of the van/wheels. Like i said a shaped one would be ideal, and it must be water proof.

needed because i am losing the inside storage where i currently have my van and it is likely to be outside for a while until i can get it either finished or back inside for to finish it

needless to say it's not ready to be out in the elements and i am not best pleased about this :( :x

if you want you can email me directly if you know of somewhere (the_gunslinger@ntlworld.com) online links or phone numbers i dont care

cheers

Would it fit inside on of those temperary tent style garages? or at least look in the sales for a garden awning, it will keep the rain off.

You want to be careful in what you use as most will create condensation
and dampness underneath, even the water proof ones.
Freds got the right idea but these temp garages only seem to fit your ave hatch back.

interesting ideas cheers guys :)

the tarpaulin was what i am trying to avoid as i am hoping to have it in its final coat of paint by the time i have to move it (24 jan) and that will just rip it to pieces and scratch the hell out of it

and yeah ... merry fooking christmas, guess where i am spending most of it ... i will be more than glad to see the back of 2005
