i will have 2 outlets on the drivers side of my van just infront of the rear wheels when i build my exhaust, but thats only because the chrome oval end sections i have are too small to use on their own so i will use both of them together :)

well the idea was to keep as much stock as possible, although i am gonna change a couple of things

1) wont be as close to the prop (i'll add a section to the cross pipe)
2) the round box in the standard config will be a stainless one, but other than that the middle section with the boxes will be standard dimensions and front fitting just cut shorter at the rear, so easy to replace
3) my home built section at the end (90 degree bend and one into 2 splitter will slide onto the end of original shortened middle/box section for easy replacement)
4) no fooking way is it going over the rear axle and all that crap again :P

yeah .just get rid of the rear bit over the axle...just have the stock exhaust silencer bit.but fit your own side exit bit...i like that idea.you got me thinking now.........side exit on mine.....saves having a exhaust ring on the garage door from the rear exhaust... :D

LOL, the only downside, is that you lose the space for a second fuel tank, i actually considered redisigning mine and kicing it out early to leave the space for that :)

i am still running the standard v4 system on the mk1 but the downpipes have been moded and and i think its not letting enouph gases thruogh, so might have to have a system made , or oneday find the original v6 transit down pipes! :?

v4 system will restrict the flow mark i am also considering removal of sidepipes for a out back system but i have to say that the sills are perfect maybe because they are always hot when runnin also i may have a steel pair of downpipes
