Help Required to collect ebay Item in Helsby, Cheshire.

I hope my request for help does not sound cheeky but we're all in this forum to help each other. I may buy a strimmer mower from ebay but the owner says he does not have time to attempt to put it in a box or wrap it up, even with my offer to pay for the materials.

Is there a member out there who could collect the item and wrap it up or box it and I'll arrange a courier to collect it. You see I need the mower to go to Paignton, Devon and it's going to cost too much in deisel to go up there and collect it. I'd rather meet someones costs who lives close and is willing to lend a hand to a fellow forum member.

The auction ends @ 8.50 pm on the 9th July, 1 day and 22 hours. I am in no hurry for the item, just as long as it gets collected.

if you have no luck i should be in the area sometime next monday afternoon, i could pick it up and have it shipped from my depot for you

Oh, are you a courier, you realise it'll be unpackaged and a loose mower. I've had so many problems with couriers refusing to collect unpackaged metal items and then one day I received a 190 axle sitting on and old tyre, which I bought from ebay. I could hardly move it.

So you'll be in the area, it would take the vendor to be there aswell that day. Give me more details. It would be of great help. Oh, how much would it be to transport this to Devon via your system, it weights probably 26kgs. Thanks Julian

all i can really say is that i will be in the area sometime around 2-4pm on monday, packaging wont be a problem, we are actually the biggest uk lawnmower dealers so i'm sure i'll find a box for it, and shipping will probably be less than a tenner, but i could do with knowing exactly what machine it is
