Road Tax Increase

Does anyone know how the proposed road tax increases will effect our Transits?I notice that 2.2 diesel Landrovers tax will go up by £60.

well i read on bbc news it wont effect vans/car registered before 1/3/2001 im alright mines a 2000

obviously you like driving a rollerskate , skinflints car, personally i like driving proper cars so i spose you get what you pay for watch out while your out driving your roller skate that you dont bump into a real car as you WILL come off worse

thats right my roller skate as you call it is 1.7 turbo diesel astra !!!
not the fastest car in the world but it can nip on while returning 58 mpg.
On one foot I have this and the other the van so have a cheap car tax and an expensive one in the van and my carbon footprint is ok

well i must admit im sick of this green crap and im not going to make any effort at all to reduce my carbon footprint, in fact im doing the opposite, im using as much fuel of all types that i can afford im just making sure i have big cars that are older than 2001 hmm nice cadillac fleetwood 8.2 liter

i have to agree with you and the 8.2 litre sounds a goer. Was talking to someone last night about owning a zil truck so am with you on the carbon footy thing except I may have planted 2 acres of trees ! maybe am a bit confused

right on brother, I'm off to look at a car with a V6 2.7 auto tomorrow to replace my 2.4 auto, comfort before economy. Tax aviation fuel, aircraft, and container ships - they are the 'real' polluters!

yes if we didn't import so much shite from china and export so much scrap buy British - pay the extra it's worth it
