Well I took the bus to Royton Hauliers in Welwyn today for its MOT and it passed.

One advisory for the N/S rear tyre (worn on the inside edge). They only do tests and no repairs so they have no axe to grind unlike some of the cheaper places. Took it to the Mister Clean for a under-body wash £8 and £45 for the MOT, so it was not that painful after all.

Would recommend the chaps at Royton as they were very helpful when they could not find my Transit on the VOSA register.
