slowest speed achieved

Postby malta transit » Tue Sep 16, 2008 9:56 pm

 Before I had my Mk2 and my Mk1 V4,i had a Mk1 perkins 4108 diesel engine Transit. It was a very good van as i used it once a week the battery was flat, and all i needed to do was give it a bit of down hill and it would start. The only reason for i changed it was, as on flat road, on first gear i reached 10mph, on 2nd gear reached 20mph, on 3rd gear 30mph, and on top gear i reached 40mph with gas pedal to the ground. The only time i saw over 40 to 60 was down hill on free. That s why i think i had the slowest Transit.
