Vote for the transit

OK!! what is one of the best known things in England today and deserves to be an Icon in our country. Some say a Double Deaker bus, I would say no to that as they are in London and not all over England. maybe the FA cup but not all people surport football and you do not see them on every street corner. I say its the Ford Transit van and if you agree with me we need to show out surport for this by voting today on a website. We need to let people know how importaint this iconic van is to us.

I have done it, you have to go into Nominate an Icon on the link oage then put in you details they will email you then email them back and they take nots of your vaote,, Peter

That's not voting for it thats nominating it. You need to wait for them to make the decision as to weather it's an icon or not, once it's in the list of icons you can vote for it!

Wont they look at how many people have nominated the Transit , if they see loads of people asking for it surely then they will make it an icon to vote for ?????

i have registerd the ford transit van on icons just have to see if it is accepted

Guys stop registering the Transit on icons, all you are doing is spamming there site! It's in the list of items waiting to be added! Just keep checking and vote once it's in the icon list!

We need to put a few nominations like 6 or 8 on the site just to show we need it as an ICON, then when its adopted we can go for the big Vote......I will keep an eye on it........

but on that site it says "sort by most popular nominations" so it must mean the more you nominate it, the better the chance it will have

oh well its done now i tend to rush thru these sites as i cant be bothered to read the 10 pages of rules and regs anyway it cant do any harm as i am sure there are other people that keep nominating other things

also i couldnt see the transit on the nominated list ?? maybe i am just not looking hard enough
