Transit Mk6 T330 Petrol , myth or legend?

Postby pugtop » Thu Oct 16, 2008 12:41 pm

Curious to know , I want to change my Mk5 for a newer , short wheelbase van , and have made my mind up that a T330 would be high on the options list. Now , if a Petrol/LPG T330 was available , 2nd hand , I would jump on it , just not seen one! Anyone know if they are available. I like the idea of the RAC , T330's with the hatch rear door too.... Reason I like the idea of a Petrol/LPG Transit is the LEZ , as my mate lives just inside it and it will cost me a bucket load in the future to go in with my Mk5.

Any ideas??

And how long will it be before Euro 4 comes in? When it's in, the euro 3 vans will be in the LEZ

Sorry to say I have to agree with you. No idea what I will do then, though I am hoping the misinformed gits that brought this in didn't think of the petrol thing either.

Why not try ebay? There are always good 2nd hand mk6 lpg vans on that.

I'm really after the LPG one as it is LEZ compliant (check with the DoT) and also the fact it is dual fuel makes it Congestion charge free too .. at the moment! LPG is classed as a low emmisions fuel , for some strange reason!

I checked out this , my works Mk6 is a Euro 3 and is an '06 plate ... it says so on the Government websites if you check carefully!

Update , i've just checked again and it has changed , it now says from 2010 , that it is compliant! Before it said it wasn't :? you will be! Perhaps TFL haven't got a clue?
