On my home from Aberdeen on Saterday morning i saw something rather pleaseing...yay a MK7 Ford Transit ambulance heading northbound up the A90 between Dundee and Forfar. Now i remember seeing a brand new Transit followed by a Connect Paramedic unit passing me heading north up the M74 sometime in the early summer.
As far as i'm aware it's been quite some years since Ford had Transit Ambulances working up in Scotland,at the moment i think all of the frontline Ambulances are either Volkswagons LT's/Crafters and before that Mercedes Benz Sprinters (Sorry for the bad language there folks
As some of you might know and as the name suggests the Scottish Ambulance service is nationwide so it could mean quite a few new Transits heading up there. One final thing i wonder if they have the 200BHP power unit?
Regards Dominik.
