Anti freeze

Very cold weather predicted next week, Advise all transit owners, etc, To CHECK their anti freeze level in there rads. Even drain some out and add the blue stuff in. Avoid them cracked heads & pushed out core plugs. J.L.

Yeah good advice John, vans not mine :) but did my car this morning, added extra concentrate to washer bottle too.

yep, if you put blue into pink it loses its protection :wink:

Ford Transit 120 TDI EPIC Automatic. 0-60 in a leisurely and smooth 12.7 seconds and 1/4 mile in 19.1 seconds. Now where's all these faster? manual Di s?

show off! with cleen engine bay! :lol: :lol: :lol:
the last lot of antifreeze that is now in my mk1 is very lightly pink but nealry clear :roll: ,i dont know if fords do the pinky red stuff likes yours anymore andy! :? :?

they do....or they did 2 months ago....I did my spec 2 months ago and my new van already got antifreeze in it...bonus..

Hi there Folks! :D

Your not kidding about it being cold! I went up to Aberdeen on Monday night/Tuesday morning,i did'nt set out until 02:30 but one of my drivers was running around two hours in front of me,anyway he telephones me and asks if the tempreture guage on the new van is working correctly which i told him as far as i know it was yes and asked why and he tells me that he's just gone up the Lune Valley between J37/38 of the M6 and the guage was reading -7 anyway by the time i got there the guage on my van was reading -8! Brrrrrrr :x

its 80 per cent alcohol apparently but dont be tempted to drink it you might die stick with the aftershave
