There was a 15" 6-stud Twin Wheel Transit Luton on Ebay last year - looked it up on Ford Etis - defo a 4.11 twin wheel as was listed as twin wheel 4.11 on the Ford Etis system so they do exist! I was gonna buy the whole van just for the diff for £850, well dreamt about buying it anyway!
Just missed a '97 Twin Wheel Transit 190 NHS A&E Ambo rear axle with the SVO (Special Vehicle Order) Rear Anti-Roll Bar on Ebay - SOOOOOOOOOLD already.... Bet that was a 4.11 too! Bollocks, Its still listed by the way, just the axles gone.
Anyway, I'm new to this forum. I'm creating a 24V Cossy Pickup with a 2000 UK W registered '96 Malaysian Made Twin wheel LWB Pickup Import with Aircon, electrics and 33k km on the clocks. Had a f@@kin nightmare oil leak and major black smoke when I got it. Had the engine out, new crank oil seals front & back, whole conversion kit seals used up really. Got it through emissions at the MOT by turning mid range fuelling down, flushed engine, after running on and making about 8000 rpm on its own oil I think its cleared itself out... Disillusioned from time to time especially as I have to put it back on road now with the old 2.5Di and a rusty holed bent up tipper body fitted to go to work, just as its fully dryed out, and I'II know it only take two weeks before that mint laminated chassis rusts out with this salt around, especially by the bump stops

Fitted a Mk1 Mondeo Diesel Cable Drive Rev Counterand some chrome rims, well chrome rings really that I brought back from the States and my quick release steering wheel, Capri boss and Recaro from my other Transit - best to start with the important things that'll really make her go faster eh! Anyway should be up and going in late Spring..hopefully...after sandblasting and a coat of paint. Two Cossy lumps sitting here looking at me. Only reason I won't be going GM V8 is the insurance premium. Now I've been quoted £600 on a 24V cossy with 1 year no claims so I'm doing it! Don't even care if I spend £5000 on a 1 bar turbo/ecu system over 3 years!! Looking at modern 125Bhp+ Transits I was recently thinking the whole idea is a waste of time and money, but just read a post that says 1 bar boost = 350Bhp on a 24V Boa Cossy with original spec conrods and BOB cam, so got my wind back in my sails now. I'II be happy with 180 Bhp in a unladen Pickup anyways and haven't got the wizardry for a YB Cossy...and all those Mk6's and 7's are sooooooo Frog-eyed Movano Ugly. Anyway got some photoshop pics of how I wanna old school my truck, and I mean really old school, like back to '66 Shelby Gt350 styling would be the ideal. Even got a '65 mustang front end with horse, corral and bars I could stick on it!!! Don't want it to look sharp and modern just chopped doors and stainless big old blazer mirrors and Original Le Mans stripes and some Ford T running boards inlaid would be cool. Oh yeah and me company name on it somewhere....YEEE HAAA!! They'll never see me coming!!!! '96 Shelby Transit GT177?? Look out for it!!!!
So enough ranting. Had to introduce myself....
