bp ultimate diesel

Postby nitroman » Mon Apr 24, 2006 10:54 am

tried bp ultimate diesel several times now from empty and i have to say i have noticed a real difference in both the improved smoothness of the engine under load, the engine is less noisey and there is a definate improvement in acceleration.
i have tried various ultimate fuels in various cars/bikes over the years and not really noticed much difference but on my chipped tranny it genuinely does make a real difference but its expensive!!

well i agree yes the van runs smoother but when i tried it it had the fuel consumption of a v12  so no way will i ever use that again
You only need two tools in life: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the duct tape.

I use a high octane fuel in my Smart car and she loves it! When i first started to use it i couldnt really feel any difference at all. But i notice a massive difference if i fill up with regular fuel ......so i dont bother :D just use high octane :D £18 fills the tank to the brim :D And it keeps the engine temp down a bit.

The price varies on the type of kit you have fitted, a basic 'carb' type kit, I would say, about £1000-£1500. A gas injection kit £1500+

The 'carb' type kit can be fitted to any engine, its called that because it works the same as a carb does. My 24v Sierra uses a 'carb' kit, works great, it can still do 130+mph on gas! (Private roads, of course)

I'm also fitting a 'carb' kit to my essex powered 'bus, will have pics very soon :D
