Factory Ebony black Transit- V6 CRS

I spotted today an ebony black Transit with the reg V6 CRS in Southall.Having owned N66 CRS Ebony black auto turbo diesel,swb with a tailgate.I would assume that V6 CRS came from the same place ie Co Op Retail Services and carried dead bodies around like mine.If it is the same spec it could carry 4 stiffs at a time!
V6 CRS does have a tailgate but with a metal window,where as mine had glass with a perspex panel inside.I bought mine from a mate who deals in vans,it was still racked out in the back and had it's gold sign writing.I bought because it was in excellent condition.
A couple of mates of mine wouldn't go near it,but i didn't care-it looked the nuts when clean,i even went camping init.If you don't like the dead body thing it's a shame because if you find one of these vans they are worth buying.I know my N66 CRS was part of a fleet N1 CRS to N100 CRS.If i could find another i would buy it and change to manual 5-speed.

It wouldn't bother me, when you're dead you're dead........... I have to say, I often thought of getting a classic hearse of some kind, and converting it into a van, I think that would look really good, though I am sure somebody has already done it!

It was a shame to see N66 go but the atuo box was going and didn't have time or parts to do a manual conversion.Now there are so many Mk3 Transit being scrapped i'm failing over the bits.Use make me laugh when people sitting next to me in traffic suddenly realise why it was Black.
I will find another CRS or a twin side,tailgate Mk3 to modify and use for work.
Glad there is others out there that not worried about the body thing,i've spoke to a couple of Co op driver's and thought it funny to see people's reaction.
