i had a crew cab ex AA like yours, i picked up a s.w.b. 1994 Transit minibus from the REAR and was driving it back to my yard when i got pulled and was escorted to a weighbridge, well lucky for me the position the bus was in when i went to collect it was why i rear lifted it,when i was put on the bridge the weighbridge operator told me to "put your drive axle on that yellow plate" well it was 40 kilos overweight on that axle, they didnt weigh anything else as they know that with a spec the canterlever effect puts not only the weight of your load but also the majority of your front axles load is put onto your rear axle :x well lucky for me theres a law that was put in place for people carrying wood and sand etc, that allows you to be something like 5% over your maximum weight, its there for vehicles that carry stuffs that will get heavier if its raining but the law applies to everyone :D well after that i realised a Transit isnt any good for recovering Transits so i sold it and got a 7.5 ton Volvo beavertail :D

I have got a 1963 red/white david brown implematic with a 12 speed gearbox. and also a ts59 3 furrow plough
I also have a ted20 grey ferguson--1964 nuffield 460 and my favorite a fordson e27n and recent a finger bar mower 20 made by massey ferguson.

do u do any ploughing matches?
and i know what u mean a mf35 is lighter than a Db990...I used to put the ted20 on the back of my old beavertail transit

they are a bit keen near me as well if you are using red or kerosine on road runs but they seem ok if using it for ploughing matches
dont forget you dont just get a trophy as at some plough matches you get some prize money as well..at least it pays for the diesal or petrol
