Insurance with Euro cover?

Postby transitdude » Tue Aug 08, 2006 8:16 pm

Hi All,

Had some quotes on against the 2003 Transit I now own, coming in at around the £320 mark which is pretty good I think.

Only issue I have is that I will require European cover as the main purpose for having the van is to transport my motorbikes abroad.

Budget who is providing my best quote say I need to pay around £50 everytime I want to go abroad. Apparantly the van is classed as a 'commercial' vehicle and thus cannot be covered for free  . Could be a costly affair if I travel abroad often :?

Comments appreaciated.
Cheers
