Who else emailed Kevin Bacon?

I did a bit of a search today, and one web page that came up was by Kevin Bacon, who has a Mk1 camper, so I emailed him to tell him about the board. He replied saying this was the third email he had had about it. I think he may be p*ssed off. I have already emailed back to try to explain and apologise. If you ever get to read this Kevin, once again sorry.

I emailed him. Ive emaild loads of people - its the only way we can get members untill we have enough links to be picked up by google! Almost every one of the 28 members on here have been invited!!

Fred let me know who you have emailed i email 10 a day off ebay! and keep a list of those i have, so as not to bug them twice! If there not interested its only 1 button to press X At the end of the day i put this site together to help out other fellow enthusiasts, not to make money! so if he's pissed off thats just bad luck - i assumed by looking at his site he was into helping out other people just like i am!

I have actually been going through US and other listings, including the NSVA and West Coast Vans, who hosted the nats when we went (it would be funny if anybody remembers me!). Haven't touched ebay, so unlikely we have doubled up on anybody else........

I joined this forum,so the emails worked.No need for an apology Fred and I'm not pissed off Luke,in fact I've put a link to you on my site.As for helping people I get emails almost everyday from all over the world who've seen my site.I always try and help where I can although some people seem not to realise I'm based in the U.K and ask where their nearest scrapyard in when they are in new Zealand or South Africa!.

You should really be careful emailing people off ebay as you really aren't supossed to. Not that it bothered me, been looking for this sort of site for a while but there are others out there that might not be so happy!

Bah ebay are far too big a fish to be bothered about us!! and this is free and non profit making!! Ive almost stopped emailing people anyway they always seem to be the same people but if i find a newbie ill give them a nod!!!

We do need some more mk6 members though- its difficult to spot someone who is a mk6 enthusiast as opposed to someone who is just buying spares for there van

I did think about emailing people who are buying transit haynes manuals though!!!

I didn't mind getting the email from ebay, I wouldn't have found this great forum..........cheers and keep it up

Remeber i live in scotland we still use cups n string for telephones and as for roads well u know were all ur topsoil goes fom ur building sites
