the problem with this site is 1 camping ,and 2 its all pre 1950 stuff so they are not intrested in transits 
you will find pete will go and phill to sell off his junk but aprt from that its only a parts for sale day !

No worries guys.
I was just trying to offer something back to the club.I run the 4x4 Festival so have full control of what goes on.I was just offering the club a venue for a social get together.Transits could have had there own camping /parking area and indeed put on there own show.I could have arranged for all the custom vans to be parked outside the main marquee at night and even a convoy cruise around the runways.As i said this was just an offer as i am not the type of member to belong to a club and put nothing back.
Just for the recors though, the date limit for the All Ford Rally is 1965, but all modified vehicles and customised vehicles go into class 9.Custom Transits are welcome in that class.
Not sure what is wrong with the camping, on my side of the event i will regularly have 400 units camping for the weekend.No complaints.
Anyway enough of this as i need to get organised for my trip to Ireland .

garry your idea is very good mate ,but there are not many people that go to this event ! 
i might go am not shure yet, iwould like to take my van and show it but last year i never saw any classic vans as such!

No worries mate.As i said just trying to offer something back.If you do go to the All Ford Rally come over to the 4x4 site.Ask for Garry and we can have a beer together.Beer Tent all weekend.Or if you like i can offer you a tea or coffee from me caravan.
