Photos of Info Plate

Hi there
Here are the photos that I took.

I'm trying to figure out which model my van is. The Haynes manual has them listed as V10 to V60 or 75 to 175. So I'm a bit confused

The serial number/model is BD05RD533IO BDX

Build date is: 75A

The little plate says: E11 11R-0010

Can anyone help me out Cheers

Model is 80x not BDX! The E11 is a legal requirement for the back lights that are fitted I think.

its more likley to be when they brought in the requirement for e marking the lights, it was cheaper to make the plate than change the lens mould

If you see the back lights - they look like they are from a caravan

I'll have a look for a photo now!

I remember my mum and dad in the 80's having a CI Sprite caravan with these exact same lights

Also on the plate it says 75A - does this mean April 1975

Did they take everything into this E marking then? How come I never heard of it before?

I dunno what the 75A means but going from teh VIN number it was built March 75.

Why is it that you need to know this?

If I'm looking for parts, etc - All I know is that the engine is a V4 2.0 litre from a Ford Corsair and that alot of parts seem compatible with what I've seen in caravan showrooms - so sometimes it feels a bit of a mish mash van

Your camper will have been built around a ford transit chassis cab, by a professional camper conversion company. BUT I have to tell you our Mk1 camper was made from a transit chassis cab and a caravan! Only found out when we broke it up. Either way, the cab, engine, gearbox, prop shaft, back axle and front glass will be ford. From the back of the cab back will be from the camper conversion company. That's standard for a camper. Is there a bodybuilder's plate anywhere on it?
