just found this while searching for info on fords formula xr+ 10w-40 engine oil, ford dealer says its semi-synthetic but on honest johns site someone said its mineral, can anyone confirm what it is

I like the idea of those magnetic traps he links to, don't like the prices (even though they are in US$) but neat idea and makes some sense too. Not sure about the other link with the one to put in the diff (away from moving parts????) can't make my mind up if the writer is english or american since he 'talks' like an englishman but lists prices in $'s, the link to the Chelmsford motor factors shop is a slight clue that he might have once lived here though.
