MT75 mounts

Postby MarkM » Tue Oct 17, 2006 11:31 am

I was looking for something else and came across this link.
Not earth shattering but given that some people find that vibration is an issue with worn mounts and want./need to replace them, here is a possible solution using uprated parts :?:

Are the 4wd mounts the same as the 2wd?

Pass....I just found the site, call them up and ask. I have thought about these uprated mounts on the entire engine, suspension etc as when I need to replace them I am going to replace with the poly versions to tighten everything up. For the people on here who are doing or have done engine swaps this is the route I would have been looking at. It wasn't until I found this site was I aware that you could even get the uprated mounts for the gearbox. Whenever you look in the magazines Transits are never listed but since the MT75 box is used in many engine swap projects they are used (the poly ones) I also found some interesting pictures of Westfields with quick shift conversions for the MT75 and I seriously doubt that those installs used 4wd gearboxes.
