ok ok i give in the mk7 is actually a nice tool i saw 1 up close 2day and it does look quite nice and looked even better wen he pulled away from the lights spinning the wheels :lol:

so i apoligise for slating mk 7's hope u can forgive me :wink:

My only worry with these vans is, when they go wrong, they'll have to go back to Fords and probably cost a bomb to fix :shock:

Lets face it, in about 10 years time, we'll all be driving Mk7's saying how great they are.

I think that's the problem of almost all modern cars and vans, with the exception of a Lada :wink:

well after haveing the mk6 for 6 months i realy cant falt it!

it goes like stink ,its very very quite on the motorway at 70 its like a car with a mk5 i would have to drop down to 60mph to try and get away from the horrid noise from the di,
:shock:

the erly di engines were great with the pencil injectors but after that when they went onto the smileys in around 97 they changed them again :shock:

and allthou the engine seemed less noisey in the cab its was alot more noisey! :shock:

the turbo was the only way to go with alot less noise from the engine at speeds! but i would not be happy running a n/a di anymore ! so for me its a big thumbs up for the mk6 and mk7! :wink:

i mean yer wen i first saw the mk 7 i didn't really like it but after seeing 1 up close the other day then wheelspinning off the lights it's got my vote

oh and i saw a mk 7 luton today a rear wheel drive mk 7 dats gotta be good lol

who me or andy either way i'll have a mk 5 aswell lol i wouldn't have a mk7 coz i know i'll smash it having fun in it but wiv a mk 5 i can get bits easier
