are you a mini man also?

i`m into minis and plain to import a few later in the year, then main problem - how to get them home. an A-frame is an easy option, but getting 2 back will make more financial sence.

did the mini clear the rear wheel arches, or did you have to lift the mini over them.

Only the rear axle of the mini did clear the rear wheel arches.(it took some red paint with it) the front axle is wider so we jacked the front up when it was transported. I think most mini coopers (custom ones) with extra wide wheel arches will not fit. The mini you see on the pictures is a innocenti 1300...a pile of rust  .

Maybe i buy a second hand mini oneday....a nice 1300

on a trip to perth race course in scotland, one of the mini traders had a track installed in his van to raise it above the wheel arches, and if i`m not mistaken it fitted 2 minis

only problem it was a sprinter.... perhaps he had to carry 2 minis in the back to stop it falling over
;-)
jumbos do it standing up....
