interesting what inlet manifold are you using

shame the oil filler is in such an inaccessible position is there another cover you can get for a zetec that would bring it forward

Hi Luke,
using the Zetec 2.0 inlet manifold. Oil isn`t too bad as I have cobbled a funnel and hose together so works fine. Only thing I may need to adjust in the coming weeks is the angle of the gearbox and engine ( the mounts have slotted holes so can be moved by 2cm if necessary) as there is a slight vibration at approx. 5-6000 revs and it could be the sump touching the cross member but I`ll run it for a week or 2 first.

yeah the filler isnt the end of the world - its just little things like that that bug me when i do this sort of thing its nice when they look factory - you can get other zetec cam covers with the filler at the other side but i dont know if they would fit

but hats off to you for doing this we've been talking about zetec conversions since we set the forum up in 2005 and ive seen only a handfull that have actually been done

I was thinking about doing this on mine (for LEZ compliance) - but I don't think the zetec would cope with the train weight
