It was only around the corner from me and i had seen it before i saw it on ebay it had one bid of 350 on it i really wanted it so gave 500 without the bother of bidding wars was towed behind a tranny luton to get it home scary round the country lanes but the brakes eventually worked so ok.

I thought it was the same van for a minute then.

Anyway, good to see another mk1 being rescued.

Get a progress report going, plenty of pictures and write ups
of your work. Give me something to do instead of working .

Nice van by the way :D

Well done I think £500 is a good price. I paid £400 for mine but it needed a new engine as you know. I belive mine was blue originaly then red and now yellow due to finding paint here and there.

I found a total of 4 V4 engines! one was right near me but on its way here it fell of the back of the truck :(. The next engine had a sticking bottom and then I got mine that runs fine. No sooner had I got mine did I get offered another one.

So if you need a engine let me know.
