Twin Rear wheel Transit

Postby becky » Sat Mar 31, 2007 9:05 am

After the sarga of trying to buy a new transit......

Heres my new addition.
20,000 miles, 55 plates, 350, 137 psi, 6 speed.

Not in perfect condition, a few little scuffs here and there, but I`ve come to the conclussion a 2nd hand motor is rarley mint condition. Its alot better than some I veiwed.

The power is SOOOOO different to my Mk3 jumbo turbo. Alot more comfortable, like driving a car not a van. Over took ( correction- burnt off) a few Sprinters on the way home, 80mph @ 3000rpm..

I`ve only driven it back from leeds, as I`ve got a few things to sort out, remove the rear seats, replace a few ply pannels, make a false floor for the market stall etc etc.

But overall, I`m like a dog with 2 d1cks.

When I went looking for my van last year there were more Jumbo's that anything else on offer at the time. I have to say that I would have bought one but for the fact that we would have been living in perpetual darkness when it was parked up outside the house. :)
Fantastic value for money and perfect for trading.
Good luck with it.
Cheers
Don
