Since owning my swb transit for a little over three years now I have made a couple of modifications.
It started life as the entry level low spec no frills van.

Mods and changes to date.
1. Cat1 upgrade alarm
2. Electric windows
3. Heated windscreen
4. 220aH split charge system
5. 1500w modified sine wave inverter
6. 15000w pure sine wave inverter
7. Heated hand wash
8. Night heater
9. Mondeo modified instrument cluster with rev counter.
10. Clarion NX501 double din sat nav running 5ch surround sound and built in sub & rear view camera
11. Side windows and rear carpet re-trim. Including re=trimmed headlining fron to rear
12. Mk7 triple rear seats
13. 7" roof mounted rear view monitor- linked to Clarion DVD head unit and digital TV tuner.
14. Heated front Scorpio electric seats
15. X Police strobe rear roof light bar (amber lenses now NOT blue!)
16. Front and rear side amber marker lights
17. Steelmate DRL
18. Hot wash windscreen water system.
19. Automatic engine run-on system.
20. Time/Temp clock above radio
Probably more but cant think right now!

How have you done the headlining? just stuck carpet to the roof?

No I used a thin piece of ply lining cut to shape and fastened that in place. I removed the front original heading and trimmed that out of the van leaving enough spare to follow straight through into the rear so it is one piece

Not sure to be honest. Do i go for 18" and compromise ride quality or go for 16" and know if i go off road for an on-site tracker fit I wont be worried about low profile tyres in a crappy muddy field/work site?

Good work on the van - it looks great! I'm in the middle of installing some captain chairs in the front on an old seat base like you've done, I see you've anchored your seat belt to the seat base too, did you just put a bolt through it or use a seatbelt anchor plate on the inside of the box to reinforce it?

I used the original seatbelt mounting point as the passenger base was originally a drivers side base I picked up from a breakers yard.
