2015 Transit Connect Deep Impact

Here's the replacement for my old Mk7 Transit. Already one 5500 miles since November and I dont even do mobile work anymore..

It's a 95PS or was, until the VanTuner got his hands on it. It's now around the 130PS mark, with torque around 310NM, pretty lively now.

Looks like a normal Connect, but we have a row of seats in the back which can be removed. One of the reasons I sold the Mk7 was because it lacked practicality and we needed a vehicle I could use for work, or take the kids out in, it does this perfectly.

It's a Trend, so has enough bits and pieces, the only thing I would of liked was cruise control.

Drives just like a Focus! Very refined, smooth, handed well out the box.

But I have already improved it besides the map, and added Eibach lowering springs and a set of 16 inch Alloys which dont look too out of place for aftermarket.

A few bits of colour coding next, followed by some nice subtle sign writing and its done. Great little van, a world away from the Mk1 Connect.

....very nice specially now martyns done his stuff............how do you get on with the deep dash?.....seems twice as big as the older vans

You get used to it after a while. The interior is great, nice and modern, great head unit with DAB/Bluetooth. Most of the time you forget you're driving a van!
