Today’s mission for Muttley was sort my rear brakes out, been needing to be done since before he did the fronts! So, I’m working away in the living room, I hear a LOT of banging and thumping from the front of the house, ignore it and hope everything’s ok. Loads more banging and then deathly silence. Completely panicked I run and open the front door, expecting to find the van on its side or some such disaster, but no, just hubby replacing my brake shoes. Apparently the drum was rusted on :( but he got it off, replaced the shoes, god, you should see the state of them, no idea when they last got changed, but the vans done over 200,000 miles!! Work lovely now which is just as well cos I almost had to do an emergency stop when i road tested them  #Pushbikes not used properly by young kids #bloodycoronavirus ;)
