what happened? We had a main wiring loom joint go when our Mk2 was 4 months old, but the RAC fixed it on the side of the road.

i was a site at morcambe. bumpy muddy place it was and at some point the union on the flexy pipe into the power steering broke spraying fluid every where. didnt really notice till the pot ran dry and the steering went all heavy.
i admit i am hard on my vans but still. its a transit for god sake does this mean nothing anymore.

They are not proper commercial vehicles any more! I just had a Lucas pumped Di drop dead on me last week, we've had the engine for 10 years and I think it's about 22 years old ish, maybe about 500,000 miles on it.

They don't build um like they used Fred do um,my old smiley face was excellent never let me down and that poor van went through a flood one night in deepest darkest Devon that even the headlights were under water but er still got me home no probs :wink: :lol:

after the break downs i`ve suffered in the last year mainly due to a lack of maintenance on my companys side. i had such high hopes for this new van. at least a few trouble free months.
donno what i`m moaning about really as i still get paid
