My latest mk6

Had this a couple of months now, just not got around to taking any pics yet! Its a 125ps fwd tdci with a crap gearbox(what other kind of box is there, its a mk6 :lol: )

Yeah, sold the yellow one, a few months back to a mate. The vans still local, innfact I was passeger in the yellow one today :D Got a few things I want to do to this one, but just moved house so plans are on hold till the spring.

what is wrong with the gearbox :?: mine seems fine a little stiff when its cold but apart from that its ok at the moement! :?

My gearbox is stiff, notchy, grinds when trying to select 2nd and reverse, also pops out of reverse and second gears. 5TH gear is a nightmare to select, although if you push down on the stick as you slot it home it goes in ok. My old yellow vans gearbox was better, but poor compared to a mk5 box. I`ve got mates with mk6s and none of them are impressed with the gearboxes. I`m sure its not all mk6s that have these problems, but plenty seem to suffer.

I never had a problem with the gear box in my MK6, the MK7 however i tend to crunch a few every now and again :shock: :)

my mk6 gearbox is a little stiff, but it's a new one as my old one went bang.
Transit Van - Gonna cost me a marriage if I'm not careful.
