No idea at the moment ....if the engine was original which I suppose it is'nt then I was going to leave as is......so I will be open to suggestios of what to put in her and stay close to original spec as possible and use her for fun rather than locking her up...............

well this is a strange motor ,when the mk2 first started in 78 the kent engine was used on the 1.6 and a 2.0 was a pinto but this didnt last long attal ,in later 79 they made the 1.6 and 2.0 pinto powerd ,there is a possible chance this van could be a erly mk2 you need to get the vin number checked!
as kent powerd mk2 vans are very rare indeed!

thanks for the info bud.....my thinking is why would anyone bother to take a pinto out and put in a crossflow
