Hi mate,

I'll have to ask me mum if she's seen you about - she lives just off Pump Hollow so not far from you!

Anyway - sorry to hear you're selling the old girl - but hope she goes to a good home -she could come here if I had that sort of money to play with but that's not on the cards

Can you post a few more details on her? Did you ever get the power steering fitted that I think you mentioned hoping to sort a while back? Mate of mines missus wants one (they had a Mk3 a few years back) but apparently power steering was going to be on the list if they ever got another! Not having driven a County without it I don't know how heavy it is, but it sounded like theirs was quite a workout to park and what have you! Could have been that it just needed some attention but I dunno to be honest.

Anyway, I'm going to copy some of your pics and let him have a gander. No promises though as he's just having a massive extension on his house complete with spiral staircases and mezzanine floors so money could be short. No harm asking though eh?! Let us know on the specs on the van too so i can tell him.

Cheers fella,

Andy

hi andy, got all the bits in the garage to fit p/s on just aint had the time to fit it,especialy coz its mainly an added luxury and not a nececcery mod,the steerings fine as it is,not to heavey when your parking up neither, but im used to it so that makes a differnce i suppose,id like to get that and the lift up back door on for the sale but im snowed under its finding the time  you seem to let go a little when you use them for work aswell as your personal bus but thats what a transits for aint it?ill miss her but i gave her a new lease of life as she was in a sorry state, been a pleasure keeping another classic on the road,i know whoever buys it is gonna love it,its a top beast, good to be different..... 8)
