Postby gasretro » Sun Nov 02, 2008 10:47 pm

Hi people
Having owned/sold manys a Transit i finally foud one i'm keeping, its a 97 Tourneo with 84k + full Ford history. Underneath is amazing :D gone in usual body spots :? Plan is a full respray, slamming it on its arse + fitting 18"s  I've bought 2 wings, 4 arches, rear bumper + tailgate repair section. Anyway here she is + also a photoshop of how she'll look in her new shoes...................

Hi again
Well the Tourneo finally on the road, local company in Belfast decambered the front/rear springs 3", i also fitted the adaptors and 18"s 8) Used a tip from this forum about tweaking the pump for better response and fitted new timing belt. Turns out the timing was a tad out  must admit theres a definate improvement all round, it now revs better + pulls like a train up hills also handles like its on rails with its new shoes + slight tickling with "the stick" Got meself a Laguna front splitter + turbo wing vent to fit this week then i think its about finished
