This one's the one my friend restored, unfortunately i don´t have the "before" pics but I´m told it was an absolute wreck half submerged in a water for a few years:

That third one down has a Mk2 pahse2 transit fron grille and indicators. Sorry it looks a bit sh*t on an A series.

Wow, that's really interesting! I was told classic Fords are very often to see in Malta and still in daily use! I remember an old Practical Classics magazine issue, which featured a nice 1968 MK1 swb Transit used by a book store called Meli in Valletta!

dont stop at A series's we love to see pics of the old mk1's and 2's in use aswell

yeh and all fitted with late engines from England, i dealt with 2 exporters for years until Malta started importing more Japanese engines direct from Japan, you may even know these guys as Malta is a tiny Island i bet youve travelled in vehicles with my engines in and boats

I saw this sat rotting away in a boat yard. Shame as it will probably end up Being scrapped. There was also a MK3 crewcab tipper in the undergrowth
