Hi everyone. Just thought i would put a pic up of my new transit. Its a 190 2.5L. Twin axle with extra high roof. Love it, really pleased with it. Its Ex EDF energy with full service history, cambelt changes and only 81K on the clock. Hope you like. :D Image

have you thought about how high it is yet as with the beacons etc it must be very tall. Just a wee thought as it would be terrible to lose the beacons under low roofs etc, the wrong petrol forecourt, the wrong low bridge, etc :D

looks great tho, another long cube of sorts :!: :D

How can you tell it's a 230 Ian? Also it's not an XLWB it's a Hi-Cube!

It's like mine.
It's a 230 XLWB high cube, SVO.
You can tell itsa 230 cos of the drw.
In a MK6 280 SWB semi hi!!!!

It's not XLWB, the wheel base is the same as a LWB. Could you not get the DRW as 190 then?

The mk3 was in lwd and drw...the mk4 and mk5 not :roll: istead of normal 5stud wheels the 150 and 190 have the 6stud wheels Like Mine :)

Its not a turbo. I agree i will need to measure how high it is because it would be ashame to lose the beacons its the main reason i got that one.

On the Bosal website, they call these ones XLWB, my guess is cos of the longer overhang.
DRW's are, pretty sure, SVO.
Mine is, plus mines a Turbo and says it on the docs to.
Ex NHS laundry van.

The wheel base is the same though, just the chassis hangs over the back more.
