hi joined the site bout a week ago and bought my transit about 3 weeks ago so thought it was about time to add a few pics.i looked for transits for ages but theyd all done moon mileage or were out of my price range and i needed a van for plastering and transporting my 3 rottweilers.i bought her damaged as i like a bargain haha, she had a damaged side panel and a smashed windscreen but shes 2004 registered with fsh and 52000 miles so altho she was tatty i could see beyond that.she also had no tax or mot when i bought her.she flew through the mot,put a years tax on her,got a windscreen through the insurance for £4! erm bought the side panel from ford for 140 and got a mate to give her a full respray and colour code for 300,pair of new number plates for a tenner makes her looks a lot cleaner.ive also done the jag flip key mod which is loads better than the seperate remote fob.ive sprayed the wheels black ready for some focus wheeltrims, and future mods are escort foglights and a mondeo steering wheel, clear side repeaters and mk7 rear lights.also gonna re-ply the rear then shell be getting signwritten for my plastering business.fab site by the way :D pics before..

Such an improvement for relatively little effort. Very nice van now and the mods you mention should look really nice.

thanks very much, its actually a mondeo mk3 mod and i have 1 on my mondy but i figured that seein the 3 button mondeo key works on the transit that the jag 4 button fob wud aswell which has the added bonus of being a flip key.the unit costs about 25 on ebay and you get a blade cut from ford for £4,and the rest just programs in as normal and it looks like you have a jag lol,the 4th button is a panic feature,it works on the mondy but does nothin on the transit.has anybody else done it on the site?
