Another busy week this one............

It turned 175,000 miles today, and still runs brilliant

and

put it in for a pre-MOT on Monday, and came back 30min later with a new certificate......1st time pass again !

last week gave it another service (every 5000mls) a new timing belt, and set all the tappets. It's never ticked over so smoothly & quietly.

Good for another 175,000 mls I'd say ! :wink:

Don't be too sure.....

Scooby WRX (Road Spec) 220bhp

Corsa 1.4 16v with full 'works spec' 200bhp engine !!!!!

Way more fun than a Scooby if driven correctly!

4wd + Turbo......ain't got a look-in on tarmac or gravel !!!

Anyway, aint this a transit forum........ :lol:

my mate use to own xia36 ?? think it was?? ever heard of it :?:

was a silver road going corsa gsi with a (supposed) 300bhp turbo'd 2.0xe
was bloody quick either way :twisted:

The engine code for the 'XE' turbo version was 20LET and it was fitted in the Cavalier & Calbra 4x4 Turbo's.

Yeh, even the 2.0XE conversions are quick without the turbo! It's all down to the power-to-weight ratio. The only problem with them is the handling. It's shocking !!!!!! Cronic understeer !!!!!!!

Mine puts out 198bhp, through a quaife sccr racing box and a torque bias lsd. It'll hit 60mph in 1st gear @ 8750rpm in a fraction over 5sec !

Not bad for a 1400cc!

that was it's number plate!! aparrantly it was featured in loads of chav mags like max power and fast car- quite alot of people have heard of it!!

i have a mk2 escort with a 2.0 xe in it!!

driving wheels at the right end :wink:

im sure your corsa is a scream to drive - i had a standard pug 205 1.9Gti was unbelavable handling and fun!!!

fwd and 10/10 for fun!!!

Don,t worry, I'm not completely FWD mad, I'm currently rebuilding an Opel Manta GTE Coupe and have a 2.0XE waiting to go in !!!!!

Don't tell me, you hate Manta's and love Capri's :roll:
