I have to ask what is with this dash? Ok woodgrain can be a sticker kit but both the drivers vent and radio section are over the binacle

i think it looks smart 8) oh and nice van btw 8)
You only need two tools in life: WD-40 and Duct Tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the duct tape.

Dash kit

Postby spacebandit » Sun Mar 26, 2006 8:28 pm

Not sure what you mean , I supply the dash kits, they are self adhesive woodgrain(+others too) and are resin coated. They are plyable when a little heat is applied to mould to the original dash. The radio is split with a ham radio below that.
Thanks for all the nice comments

I mean I understand about the vinyl kits etc but the radio panel (I saw the ham set btw) and the drivers vent look to be different parts to normal.
The dash should be in 3 parts with a distinct straight line splitting the 3 sections, yours looks to be a bolt on cover with "wings??" covering part of the centre section...the pictures below should when compared to your pictures show what I mean. I like the dash I just wanted more information ;)

Looks to me as if the stick on vinyl bits just go over the joins.

Ford tribal Window

Postby spacebandit » Mon Mar 27, 2006 7:18 pm

Hi all, Iget what you mean now, the dash kit goes over the joints to make the dash look one piece.
I can do you a set of window decals for £4.00+P&P(65p), they come in silver, white or gold(silver & gold look like etch)

Thanks
Mike
