Got a phonecall today from my local tyre shop to say that my new tyres should be here for tomorrow afternoon. So ill get my sport alloys wrapped and fitted by the weekend :mrgreen:

or not

went to get the alloys fitted today and it turned out that the spacers were to big so the nuts wouldn't be able to get tightened up. So I had to go to the machine factory down the road and get them to cut the spacers down to the size that the tyre shop want them at. Spacers will be ready for friday afternoon and then I should get the alloys fitted on Saturday.

I was jumping for joy when I seen this though (poor pic)

What are the spacers for, just to increase the track or are they required to fit the sportvan wheels?

Take it you've used them before?

Mike, the spacers come with the alloys, I think they are required to fit the wheels.

Nice of them to supply spacers that don't fit :? I'm wondering if the sportvan suspension issues are caused by the widening of the track putting undue loads onto the suspension components?

mines came with small spacers attached to the wheels went on no probs though :D scotty it honestly seems like u hav no luck when it comes to they sport van wheels :lol:
