Yes I have, and I know it's going to be another show winner. I was particularly impressed you used the right cab back. I would like to do this again with a CI and make a Mk1 luton, for blocking work.

What I don't understand is how few people get it. They see a bad paint job and some mould and think the van has had it. How does this fit with the classics movement?

Thanks Niel. Wow I didn't know reversions had been going on that long! Before anybody mentions it, the only deliberate mistake is we didn't reproduce the louvres in the passenger side, due to lack of time. In the future though this will be done, and the reversion will be complete. The van left the factory in green, was (probably as a camper) resprayed blue then tacky white so the navy blue, apart from being film friendly, is near original, at least second time round!!

Yeah I know the lack of louvres is a dead giveaway, and didn't know the earlies had them on both sides. Hadn't noticed the heartbeat van/reversion but will be looking now. BUT when that's done, the former life as a camper will be undetectable, unless you take the wood out of the back. Not that I am trying to decieve anybody. If I was I wouldn't have put this in the forum!

Like Geoff said it's an early thing, as in the sixties vans.

Geoff, just checked pics of Dave's 69 SWB and that only has passenger side louvres, so don't know what was going on with yours.
