Oh yes goes like stink   Push the gas pedal and it f-s off. :D
Other than the high centre of gravity it drives very nicely, the conversion is done to a high standard and works well .Even the power steering is done well as is the central locking and electric windows. It's a good shell too there's not alot it can fault with-maybe a new battery tray? It's got bills of about £5,000 for the engine fit in 1995-stage 1 heads, fast road cam, tublar manifolds and the cossie box.It looks blue in the pics but it's metallic purple.
Going for an MOT tomorrow.

BUT

Do i have the heart to sell the Hallmark? I can't KEEP 2 vans. The Hallmark and me have had some good times,i've got the hots for restoring it back to A1 condition next year.

Decisions-v8 or Hallmark?

Those wheels will only fit with either 6mm+spacers or a big hammer, how much room is there between the rear springs and the tyre? and the front shocks and the tyre? When I had them on mine I had 6mm spacers on the front to clear the shocks and wheel balence weights, and had to make small brackets to keep the handbrake cable out of the way at the rear, it would be much better on a set of wellers or shallow offset alloys, the difference in road holding and corner speeds is incredible with a wider track, and with a V8 in there you need as wider track as you can get :D

I agree the rear bumper needs to go, dont like that at all, a Mk5 bumper and caps colour coded to the body would look much better :D

Nice van, lovely engine  8)

8) cool van, does look a quality installation :D where does the T5 stick sit :?:

i think the rear bumper would suit a van with an "off road look" wellers for example :D

T5 stick comes out between the two single front seats,as most know i'm a short arse and it's fine for me.

Had a long think today and i'm pretty sure once the v8 is MOT'd it will be offered for sale.
